The Barnes Tipped TSX bullets feature a 100% copper body with shank rings and a polymer tip, enhancing ballistic coefficient and ensuring rapid expansion for superior long-range performance. These lead-free bullets offer “dead right there” performance with four cutting petals that double the bullet diameter. Barnes recommends seating bullets initially 0.050″ off the lands for optimal accuracy, with the best results typically found between 0.030″ to 0.070″, depending on the rifle. Note that this is not loaded ammunition.
